Jamya Griffin, Women's Basketball Defensive

Georgia Gwinnett College sophomore Jamya Griffin was named the Continental Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week on December 22, 2025.

Griffin had five steals in the Grizzlies’ win at fellow CAC opponent Carolina University (North Carolina) last Thursday. For the week, the guard averaged 3.5 steals and 12 points across two games. Her strong play helped GGC close out 2025 with two victories.
