Trent Thompson, Men's Basketball Defensive

Hesston College (Kansas) sophomore Trent Thompson was named the Continental Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week on November 17, 2025.

Thompson averaged 13.7 points and 6.7 rebounds across three games last week. Fourteen points and nine rebounds came at Doane University (Nebraska) last Tuesday. The Mules, Oklahoma, native then scored 25 points while having eight steals, seven rebounds and six assists against University of Science & Arts (Oklahoma) last Saturday.
